Comments about Autolite Copper Spark Plug:

These are just regular old spark plugs. There is nothing magical about them. They get the job done and keep my cars running. Iridium, double platinum, etc., I just do not see the added benefit. I know there may be, but all in all, if you are maintaining your vehicle at scheduled intervals you are replacing the plugs often enough that the cheap ones are still going to work just fine.

Comments about Autolite Copper Spark Plug:

Read some of the research on platinum and iridium plugs before you spend the extra money. The others may last longer but the performance suffers. From what I've seen it's more marketing hype than anything and the copper core will give you the best blend of attributes. Bottom line would probably be to go with what your owners manual recommends.

I'm happy to help, Gary! The only difference is an electrode tip material. AC Delco MR43LTS has Nickel alloy tip, whereas the Autolite Spark Plug - Part No. 605 has a copper tip.

            A:

Hi Jc, I'm glad to assist you! This Autolite Copper Core Resistor Spark Plug - Part No. 605 is pre-gapped at 0.060"-inch from the factory. However, the gap must be adjusted for the vehicle that the spark plug is intended for. Those with modified engines must remember that a modified engine with higher compression or forced induction will typically require a smaller gap settings.
