Used to replace OEM battery terminal after original would not tighten enough and cracked. 2004 Quest-Included wingnut would not tighten enough, enclosed bolt does not have head on it, so replaced with a functioning bolt and nut. Similar modification completed on Frontier and it has worked well. Good replacement in a pinch, cheap, but you may need to be resourceful...

Comments about AutoCraft Top Post Battery Terminal, Lead-Free:

This bolted right on and was very easy to use. Seems like it should last as long or longer than the OEM terminal that came out on truck. Any time you can get a product that appears better you should buy it. This terminal could be used for many applications. Bolt it to a terminal and add wires for many 12 volt accessories. Good for many marine battery uses. These seem to be something a person might want to carry as s spare with them in case they are cought out in a remote area or on a like and should need. I'm going to keep a couple on hand just for safety reasons.

Comments about AutoCraft Top Post Battery Terminal, Lead-Free:

OEM replacement was unavailable with 1 week ship time. This got me back on the road quickly. It seems flimsy but I don't expect it to take much damage stationary. I almost put on a marine terminal instead. The nut is difficult to access and tighten which was posted in another review. Also the nut is standard instead of metric. No big deal though.

I needed a positive battery terminal in a pinch for my 2009 Subaru Legacy. This worked perfectly and installed easily. I had to order the factory part but I needed the car so luckily I found this one- it's not very strong and I had to really tighten it to get a good connection. When my factory part arrives, I'll replace it. For the price, you can't go wrong. Advance saved me by stocking it!

Comments about AutoCraft Top Post Battery Terminal, Lead-Free:

I had to replace a corroded OEM battery terminal and bought this. The Advance Auto Parts employee installed it for me, but didn't quite tighten the bolt so it was loose and the car would sometimes not start. The clamp bolt is extremely hard to access with a standard socket ratchet or anything else because of little pieces of metal that stick out right next to the bolt, blocking tool access. A real pain to tighten...

Good quality product just takes a lot of effort to put on. My mechanic had to solder, etc to make it fit.

After it is put on my car starts just fine, though:-) I would use this but have it installed professionally.
