Comments about Autocraft Top Post Battery Terminal, Lead:

I brought 2 of them battery terminals to replace the old worn one ones on my 97 f-150, they go on so smooth and easy installation, it's good to keep one around just in case acid or corrosion really starts to build up. before I got finished installing them I put some of that battery protector stuff on the terminals to seal and coat the terminals to eliminate the formation of acid salt prevent battery drain and corrosion. Improves battery life and electrical flow.

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper installation.

For these terminals you do not have to buy different ones for the positive and negative terminals. They can use the same ones.

One thing you can do to clean the cable is use a mixture of baking soda and water with a rag or brush of some sort.

Brake cleaner or carb cleaner- cuts through any residue. I prefer carb cleaner.
