I have used the golf cart, these batteries are in, every day of the 2+ weeks since I installed them. I use the cart when feeding and doing other chores around the farm. These batteries are a great value and hold their charge well under use. A bonus was finding them on sale at AdvanceAutoParts.com which saved me about 25% over what I would have paid at a local golf cart shop.

Comments about Autocraft Golf Cart 6-Volt Deep-Cycle Service Battery, 115AH:

I bought a pair of these for my RV in May 2014, I installed them in June 2014 and as of July 3 2015 they won't hold a charge. I gave them two stars and I suppose it's possible, since the RV wasn't really on the road much during that period, that there is something wrong with my charging circuit - I'll be testing that out. I run the RV every week to ensure the batteries stay charged. I also bought starting batteries at the same time and they seem to be working fine. It's very disappointing that the warranty is "all or nothing" within just a 12-month period. I'll be checking the charging circuit more carefully and shopping around for replacements, but based upon my experience thus far I can't recommend these. It seems others have had better experiences, so perhaps the problem is on my end. The price is good, particularly considering the discounts, etc. Others mentioned the batteries having been old stock. Mine were dated 12/13, and purchased 5 months later. Hopefully you'll have better luck with these than I did.

These were purchased for my golf cart that i use around the home and when camping.I replaced my T105 Trojan batteies with these and the fit was perfect. My T105 were bought new in 2007 with the golf cart and they would still get appox 1 mile of use before needing a charge. My hope is these new ones will last that long too

Solar bank consists of 4 of these 6v, series - parallel. First set purchased were dated 2012 not 2014. Used online coupons. Following the 50% state of charge rule these should last years, so maybe no big deal but that costs a star.
Note this retailer also stocks stranded 2ga wire and copper lugs for custom cables.

Store only had 4 of these batteries. 2 were made in 2012 and 2 had 4/13. I metered both batteries(4/13) when I got home. Both read 5.97V. I charged them overnight and I think they read 6.26V
They appear to be Ok, I just don't like buying batteries that have been sitting in a store for 15 months, but I needed them right away. Time will tell, and they have a 1yr warranty.

I have 6 of these in series/parallel on my solar power system which runs my computers. They have been working great for 2 years. They hold enough charge to keep my computers running for 48 hours if there is no sun to charge them. Normally I do not let them drop below 50% charge but there have been a few times they have dropped to 20% and come right back after a good sunny day charges them.

                    A:

I'm happy to help, Rick! These Autocraft Golf Cart 6-Volt Deep-Cycle Service Batteries (Part No. GC2) are the correct replacement for the current GC2 batteries in your boat. The rating you see is not for Amp Hours on the new battery. The new battery is rated by its reserve capacity. This battery has a reserve capacity of 115 minutes with a 75 amp draw. Reserve capacity is the number of minutes a fully charged battery at 80° F will discharge until the battery drops below 10.5 volts. An estimated amp hour rating with the same draw would be 64 Ah.

What is the 20 Amp Hour Rate for the GC2? Your literature only gives the Reserve Capacity. For an RV with solar, the important spec is the 20 Amp Hour Rate.

Approximately 450 to 500 minutes. The battery will perform up to 9.5 hours(570 minutes) at draws of 20 amps after properly deep cycling the battery. The spec is 115 minutes at 75 amps (higher discharge rate for this style battery).

PREVIOUS ANSWER IS FOR A 12-VOLT BATTERY:
"The bulk charge and float charge voltage for the Autocraft Golf Cart 6-Volt Golf Cart/Electric Vehicle Deep-Cycle Service Battery 115AH - Part No. GC2 is 14.6V and 13.2V respectively"

For a 6V battery, divide the above by 2.
                    14.6/2 = 7.3v, 13.2/2 = 6.6v
