This tool was supposed to release quick-connect fuel line fittings on a Mazda. Clumsy tool that I could not get wedged into both sides of the quick-connect. Eventually, after much manipulation, I released the fittings. But, this inexpensive tool is definitely much more affordable than the specialized $57 one that I would never use enough to justify spending that kind of money.

Comments about Autocraft Fuel Line Disconnect Tool:

I bought a set of the plastic disconnects and could not get the fuel lines loose on my 2002 Buick Century. (Doing a lower manifold gasket replacement.) I bought this tool and had both lines apart in less than a minute!

Comments about Autocraft Fuel Line Disconnect Tool:

This tool is easy to use. Be sure to get the size for your fuel line and you will have no problem. Push in on the fuel line ad the tool. When it clicks it's done. Tool saves lot of time and aggravation. This stays in the toolbox! If you get the right size for your fuel line there will be no problem and it will be quick and efficient.

    BUY THIS

    By

Comments about Autocraft Fuel Line Disconnect Tool:

I changed the fuel filter in my 97 ford f150 in under 2 minutes and that is no joke. It fit and works perfectly. Spray some wd40 on the fittings and work them around if you can't get them off. I tried using the plastic ones for two hours then i bought this and bam new fuel filter installed.

Comments about Autocraft Fuel Line Disconnect Tool:

This tool did the trick on one fuel line, but to access the other I had to bust out the Dremel and grind/clean up one of the ends to make it fit. Part of the problem was Ford's decision to place the fuel filter in a tight spot on certain rigs, but the tolerances of this tool could be better. After a bit of work to the tool it performed fine and really, with the price of the tool I can't complain that I had to touch it up to work in my application. Thanks Advanced! You saved me a hassle yet again!!!

    Worked Like a Charm

Comments about Autocraft Fuel Line Disconnect Tool:

Worked like a charm. I had the fuel line off in under 30 seconds with this tool. NOTE: the first picture is the AC523, which DID NOT fit my 2003 Lincoln Aviator. The 3/8 size would not fit for some reason...might have been defective. I traded in for this one, which was cheaper, and it came right off.

Comments about Autocraft Fuel Line Disconnect Tool:

One of the pictures is for AC523. The AC523 will work with 4 sizes, this one will only work with 2. Purchase this one if you need the 5/16. Get the other if you need 3/8" or larger. These work fine.

Product worked without a hitch on 2004 Ford Explorer. Trick is to push it in then pull ( fuel line ) forward ( toward tool and filter )and it releases. Can't beat the price!

Comments about Autocraft Fuel Line Disconnect Tool:

I work on older classic cars in my spare time.I found myself needing to replace the fuel rail and hose in a '97 Town & Country van. It was easy after I spent an hour trying to figure out how to use the tool. There were no instructions with the tool or the replacement part. After I got it straight it worked OK, but would barely fit in the spot where it needed to be used.
