Q:My question concerns the removal of the Deer Alarm Whistle before you clean your car, or run the car through the car. Does the top part of the alert slide off of the base, and if it does how do you get it off?
A:I'm happy to help, Jabo! The Autocraft Deer Alarm Whistles (Part No. AC737/221010018) can be removed by pulling the device from the base. Then remove the screw at the back of the whistle. Then pull the unit apart. To reassemble, just push them back together and re-tighten the screw.
