This product was what I has looking for! I went to all the other shops and autoparts advance was the only one that had one specifically for Toyota. It can get stuck a little but I found out that if you apply a little oil in the cap it wont get stuck after you are done tightening the cap for the oil cartridge.

Toyota uses a special size oil filter wrench on the 1.8
clocks in at 65mm. WS4118 by Performance tool states clearly ' Toyota Filter Wrench'. Only problem... right behind the oil filter wrenches are the FRAM OIL Filters.

Fram 4967 fits the matrix but the oil filter wrench is too small for the filter doesn't fit... the next one is 65 - 67mm that does fit the Fram oil filter BUT DOES NOT FIT the standard size oil filters.

What it breaks down to.... you need TWO oil filter wrenches when replacing a standard oil filter with a fram. A W54118 to remove the existing non-fram filter
and then a W54109 (65 - 67mm) to install the fram.

So THREE trips to the store...

Trip #1 -pick up a Fram filter thinking my assortment of oil filter wrenches will fit...
None of them fit.

Trip #2 - return to store 8 miles away.. pick up a 65 mm oil filter wrench W54118 marked Toyota Filter Wrench.
Bring it home.. it doesn't fit the Fram Filter

Trip #3 - return to store 8 miles away... pick up a 65-67mm wrench W54109.... this fits the FRAM oil filter but does not fit the non-fram filter which requires the
Toyota wrench.

Engineering stupidity.. what a time wasting joke !!

I bought 3 of these and the weld broke loose on all under very light pressure.I would not even give them one star.

      Does not work

      By

Comments about AutoCraft CP WRNCH BULK Toyota:

We bought this tool to attempt to change the oil in my 2014 Prius ourselves. We read online we would need this tool in order to remove the filter. On the first attempt at any light pressure the tool broke. There were barely any tack welds holding it together. This tool is obviously very cheap and a complete waste of money. I don't know how this product can continue to be sold since it is obviously an absolute fail. After re-welding it to try and get my oil filter off (since my car obviously has been drained of all the oil and I need to drive it ) it still did not remove my filter and no matter what we tried it would not grip tight enough to get my filter off. As if it goes without saying I am deeply regretful of this purchase and very much irritated.

Very flimsy. The welded center piece (where the ratchet drive is inserted) broke loose the first time I used it.
I replaced it with one made by Penzoil for $9.99, which worked out well.

Broke at the welds the VERY first time I put pressure on it. Six small tack welds were used to attach the basket part to the ratchet part.

Comments about AutoCraft CP WRNCH BULK Toyota:

The wrench fit very tight to the filter and worked as expected. However, with the fact it is being used in an oily environment, the tightness cause a vapor lock and made the wrench difficult to remove from the filter. Both pieces needed to be oil free in order for it to easily be removed.

Comments about AutoCraft CP WRNCH BULK Toyota:

This wrench fit the oil filter housing just fine, but on applying only the slightest amount of torque, the drive ring broke free of the stamped housing. I looked at it and noticed this: where the two pieces were spot welded together there was rust, even in between the spot welds! This means that they were trying to weld rusted metal together at the factory! Do not use this, save yourself the headache (and in my case the two hours going back and forth and back and forth and back...) and get a good quality tool. If you are going to change your oil more than zero times, it's worth it to just get the better tool. Isn't it worth hours of your life and tons of frustration to spend an extra $10?

This filter wrench fits the oil filter housing perfectly. However, the cheap piece of tin where the socket wrench fits is cheap and will round out. I was able to use this product once. On the second attempt it it rounded out completely. This product is a waste of money.
