I bought this battery for a '97 Mercury Mountaineer with a 5.0L V8 in it and find it solved my problems quickly and easily.
I had previously replaced the battery in this truck with one from a parts wholesaler, supposedly one of their "top of the line". It ended up not being able to hold a charge decently after just one year.
While I haven't had this one a year yet, the performance I get from it already tells me it's a much better battery, especially for the price.
The Mountaineer is my 2nd truck, only used when my primary is being used for something else.
This truck also has a 24/7 remote alarm/starter system on it, something that sucked the previous battery down in just a few days.
I've been able to start the truck, both remotely and with the key, without any difficulty even after two weeks of just sitting. No constant grinding or prayers for the engine to catch. Starts right up as if I'd driven it yesterday or had it on a charger all the time.
Definitely worth the money.
The only "con" I have is the word "economy" running across the top. This is not an "economy" battery but a good, solid, mainline one that does what I want, when I want, without hassles.
Who can ask for more than that?

Only had a month so far but all is good. I was not sure I needed a new battery but took the chance and after the first start, it was clear the new battery was the way to go. The free installation was awesome and they did it without losing power to the engine's computer.

Autocraft size 65 - This battery lasted 14 months and then wouldn't hold a charge, so its 2 months out of replacement warranty. Its absolute garbage and I would give it zero stars if that was an option. Stay far, FAR away.

Greatest bang for the buck especially when applying the discount coupons and the rebate for the former battery's lead core. Cranking amps are solid, super low ESR and the battery performs well.

My old 850 CCA Gold was giving up the ghost after 4 years and I wasn't in the mood to spend a lot of money on a new battery for a 2003 F150, 4.2L.
Got it on a great sale actually $40.00 off any battery. I believe the original battery was rated at 550 CCA so this 650 is a step up from OEM. Time will tell.

Ordered this online for in-store pick up because they had a great coupon code that saved me $40! Went to pick up and the guy who put in my battery was great. He had it installed and us on our way in about 20 minutes. We had also bought new battery post terminals and he even changed those out for us. Overall great! Time will tell how long the battery lasts, but the service was awesome!

this battery is used in an older diesel F350 which i maintain and do most of the repairs myself. two batteries are required. I only replaced one. this has worked fine for me the last thirty years. It has been my experince that i f a battery lasts a year,it will contnue on a good while. this recently purchased battery was a perfect fit and came with a good charge. since I had checked the batteries and located the bad one (six years old) all I had to do was swapout the one battery, crank her up, and GO.

Hi Mike, glad to assist you! There is no predetermined amount of battery life. So many variables come into play that it really depends on the situation at hand. Typically a battery will last up to 5 years if maintained properly and might last for as long as 12 years.
