Comments about AutoCraft Air Conditioning and Fuel Line Spring:

Too many options on this tool makes it awkward to use. The 3/8 size did not fit - I may have had a defective tool. If you need the 3/8 size, stick with the AC522 - it is cheaper and easier to use.

Comments about AutoCraft Air Conditioning and Fuel Line Spring:

Used this to change a fuel filter on F150 (5/16" size). It worked well and is good enough for occasional home use but it would not probably last long in a mechanic's shop.

Comments about AutoCraft Air Conditioning and Fuel Line Spring:

The cramped space available and the position in the engine restrict the usable size. The tool gets into the small work area and has the strength to evenly constrict the part without causing expensive damage. The even pressure is necessary for the desired result for the removal of the fuel line. This tool is dependable for the task. It is quick and easy to understand. The work was done in very cold weather which had no negative impact on the use of this tool. The special purpose of this tool means cost is a factor. It is so reasonable in cost.

Comments about AutoCraft Air Conditioning and Fuel Line Spring:

Was told that I needed this tool to remove the fuel line fittings on the fule rails to get to the intake manifold. The tool did not fit and it was just as easy to use my fingers and pinch the plastic locking connector to release. I could not return the tool because it was dirty and attempted to use it.

Comments about AutoCraft Air Conditioning and Fuel Line Spring:

I had a stubborn AC line on a 2003 Dodge RAM 2500, 5.7 HEMI. This tool was not made well enough to apply the needed pressure to remove the line. I had to purchase a different tool. For most lines, this might work fine (worked OK for 1 of the 2), but there are better products to be had.

Comments about AutoCraft Air Conditioning and Fuel Line Spring:

I bought this because I needed a 3/8 tool but figured the other sizes may be handy for my other vehicles. It wouldn't close completely to form a true circle, so it would not release the fuel line fitting. I returned it and bought a dedicated 3/8 line tool and it worked perfect.
