Nice clamp

This seems to be a nice clamp. The steel seems durable and capable. I have used the clamp 3 times and each time it has been capable of achieving the desired tension.

Comments about AutoCraft 6" C-Clamp:

I bought one of these online and picked it up from the store without looking closely at it. When I got it home I noticed that the screw did not line up exactly with the base or whatever you want to call it. Basically the jaws of the clamp didn't line up. I took it back and traded it in for a new one. The new one looks okay. Nothing special, but it should be good enough to get the job done without giving me any trouble. I would say that the one in the photograph looks better than the one you get in real life.

It's a big C-clamp, what more to say?

Bought this to do a brake job on my wife's minivan. You'll typically need some sort of device to squeeze the brake cylinders back into the calipers so you can install new pads. This does the job.

    Comments about AutoCraft 6" C-Clamp:

I bought this product to press brake piston of a Honda odyssey. It performed very well for the front wheels, but was a bit awkward for the rear wheels. I would reccomends buying a specially made piston press tool for rear wheels. It might work well for your vehicle. It is inexpensive and nice to keep around.

Works great to collapse caliper brake piston. Used to change brake pads on a 2001 Dodge Status.

This is a great product, I used it when changing the brakes on my 2004 taurus. It pushed the cylinders back with ease.
