Hi JeepLife, glad to assist you! This Lift-Shackle Kit- Part No. AC134000/13-400 does not include the shackle bushings. You can use this with the existing shackle bushings, if they're in good condition. This fits all but 1955-57 Chevrolet. This is non-greaseable with polyurethane bushings. The hole size is 1/2"-inch and total length of shackles is about 8"-inch. It is designed to give about 5"-6" - inch maximum lift.

  • Q:

How do I install AutoCraft 500 Lift Kit Region 3 Position on a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Xtreme?
    Asked on 12/17/2014 by AnGeL

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

I'm happy to help, AnGeL! Installing this Autocraft 500 3 Position Lift Kit (Part No. AC134000/13-400) will be similar on most vehicles with leaf springs. The leaf springs will bolt to one of the 3 sets of holes in the shackles. This kit is universal and does not include instructions specific to your 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Xtreme. Some vehicles may require modifications for these to fit. An enthusiast or owner's club forum may be able to provide you with additional installation details of a shackle kit on your truck. You may also find a repair manual for your vehicle helpful (Haynes Part No. 24027).

I'm happy to help, Wrongway1970! This Autocraft 500 Lift Kit Region 3 Position is a universal part. The installation of the part will vary depending upon the application. That also affects the amount of lift that the shackle will provide. The 3 positions are designed to provide 1-4 inches of lift, which does vary by vehicle. A great place I've found to get more information on how to lift your 1994 Ford Ranger is http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/index.php.
