Worked well

This puller worked surprisingly well for it's low price. It's certainly not a pretty or high quality tool, but it will do exactly what you need it to do: pull gears.

The puller was purchased to remove a small gear that had a little rust otherwise it would have fell off, the first puller i bought had no threads so the bolt just slid back and forth. the second one had one jaw longer than the other so it was useless.
The biggest joke was the puller claimed to pull inside and outside gears however it is impossible to reverse it due to being riveted together.

Comments about AutoCraft 5" 2 Jaw Gear Puller:

I needed a two jaw puller for a one time use, to remove a shock mount from its tapered stud. This puller flexed enough that it jumped off the mount every time I tried it. I bought a bit more expensive one at another store and it worked fine.

Don't waste your money on this useless "tool".

Not worth the money. Add a few dollars and get a better product. Claims to be reversible but the jaws are riveted so can't reverse. Not a good product for long term use.

Not a good 5" 2 Jaw Gear Puller. Add a few extra bucks and get a better unit. Claims to be reversible but the jaws are riveted in so the can't be reversed. I would not recommend to a good friend.

Comments about AutoCraft 5" 2 Jaw Gear Puller:

Good puller for the money. Don't over-tighten or it will bend at the rivets. If the pulley won't come off with moderate tightening, something else is wrong. The puller is strong enough to work in the manner it was intended to be used.

Comments about AutoCraft 5" 2 Jaw Gear Puller:

This product is not even worth its small price tag. They pin head on it kept slipping off so it made it impossible to use on a small bolt. The arms moved side to side too much and made it difficult to keep them in place so that it was worthless. Do not buy this product, save your money and purchase a better one.

this puller dose not give any size dementions or ton rateing it would be hard to know if it would work or not hopefuly this well be updated with the info needed.however you would need a heavy duty style puller.

I would buy the medium, the large is too bulky to comfortably use on a car. The medium will do just fine.
