Good jack if you need something cheap for a small job. It will lift your car, but I would not trust it while you are under the car, use jack stands. It will also tip over easily unless you line it up to move as the car gets lifted. The wheel base is very narrow.

Comments about AutoCraft 2-Ton Hydraulic Trolley Jack:

This jack is low profile enough to fit under compact cars. The handle has a bend to allow for reversing for raising in low quarters. Probably not suitable for full time shop use.

Comments about AutoCraft 2-Ton Hydraulic Trolley Jack:

used this jack 4x's, jacked up a 2,000 lbs boat on a trailer 3x's and a toyota corolla once. Will not hold pressure at all anymore and its been less than a month since purchase. Tried bleeding air out in case it was a simple fix but appears to either be bad gaskets, low fluid or both. Don't waste your money

Comments about AutoCraft 2-Ton Hydraulic Trolley Jack:

It's better than scissor jacks that come with many vehicles, but it is not heavy duty, and its ad people need to know that 2,000 lbs. is not 1 ton. It has enough lift to change a tire, but it barely gets the vehicle high enough to insert jack stands under the axles.

How do I bleed and replace the oil in this jack?

                    A:

Hi Hattie, happy to help you! A floor jack has a piston that operates in a horizontal motion. Ensure that the jack is completely lowered. Turn the jack's release valve counterclockwise to lower the jack if necessary. The hydraulic jack's oil filler port is located on the jack's reservoir. The reservoir is the vertical cylinder mounted on the flat base of the jack. The oil filler port is located towards the bottom of the reservoir, near the flat base of the jack. Remove the plug or screw from the oil filler port. Insert the nozzle of the oilcan into the oil filler port. Pour oil into the oil filler port. Stop pouring the oil as soon as it begins to leak out of the oil filler port. Replace the plug or screw in the oil filler port.

                    A:

Hi Lynn, happy to help! General instructions to operate the hdraulic floor jack follow: Park the car on an even surface. A paved driveway or garage floor is best. A trolley jack will not work well when used on uneven ground, or on a grassy or gravel surface. Set the parking brake. Place wooden blocks behind the wheels that remain on the ground. Slide the trolley jack under the car at a location where it is safe to lift the vehicle (usually on the frame rails, the differential or rear end housing). Turn the handle and begin to pump. Raise the car to the desired height. Place jack stands under the front or real axle (depending on what end of the car you are jacking up). Lower the car by slowly turning the handle again to release pressure. Bring the car down slowly on the jack stands. Make sure the jack stands are set in the correct position. Remove the trolley jack. Repeat for each side if lifting one side at a time. Lean your body weight on the raised part of the car once
