Comments about AutoCraft 1.5 Ton Scissor Jack:

Better than the manufacturors jack. This Jack has a larger base and is more sturdy. This will replace the factory Jack that was damaged. It will fit in the storage compartment for the old Jack but there is no way to secure it.

Comments about AutoCraft 1.5 Ton Scissor Jack:

The jack is difficult to use, because the handle is too short and it's turning radius is too narrow; little leverage is achieved. Also, the handle needs more length so as to be able to place the jack under the axel and operate it from a safe distance from the trailer.

Comments about AutoCraft 1.5 Ton Scissor Jack:

New car manufacturers don't seem to think a jack is standard equipment these days. This seemed the best compromise between shopping the salvage yard,or buying through the dealer.

[*]. I was real disappointed because if I wanted cheap imported stuff I could have gone to [@] and saved 10 bucks. Shame on me. This will never happen to me again.

Will this lift a BMW X3 and what tool do I need to turn the handle or does it come with one?

          A:

Hi Sherry, I'm glad to assist you! This 1.5 Ton Scissor Jack - Part No. AC926/T10152 should work fine on your BMW X3. However, I would recommend a heavier jack to lift your vehicle. We do offer the 6-Ton Jack Stands - Part No. AC922/T46002 online.

Hi Peter, I'm glad to assist you! The gross weight of 1985 Jeep CJ is 3750 lbs (1.7 ton). So, this 1.5 Ton Scissor Jack - Part No. AC926/T10152 may lift your vehicle. However, I would recommend a heavier jack to lift your vehicle. We do offer the 6-Ton Jack Stands - Part No. AC922/T46002 online.

1.5 ton scissor jack is enough for Nissan Quest 2005?
Asked on 7/4/2013 by Ray from Middle Village NY

        1 answer

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

No, I am sorry. The 2005 Nissan Quest weighs around 5000 lbs and you would need a heavier jack to lift one wheel or the whole front end of the quest. I would recommend a 3 ton jack like an Autocraft 3-Ton Jack Stands - Part No. AC938/T43002 that suits your application.
