Product was very easy to install, follow all the instructions, and take your time, work slow there is no need to move very fast the tape isn't a glue.
They do dress up the truck, and they work great this weekend in all the rain we had in Kentucky.

    • Q:

If they are inchannel ventshades then why the need to tape ? I have seen where they fit in the window molding and just sit in there . Which one is better ? In channel or standard mounted ones ?

        A:

Great question, Eightball! There is no need to use an adhesive tape, it comes with an adhesive edge and all you have to do is to peel of the edge covering. This is a standard mount version and the only difference is the adhesive edge for additional support. Both In-Channel and Tape-On Vent Visors have their unique ups and downs.Standard deflectors are easy to install, provides better water intrusion protection and will not contact the window in anyways whereas the inchannel has advantages like smooth look, easy to install and remove and strongest grip etc. A demo installation video is available in this link -

    • Q:

Will this really fit a standard cab S-10 truck?
I tried one recently that was too small for the window. Salesman even said it was the right part for the truck but still couldn't attach it over the window. Too small!
