I have a 2002 Infinit I-35. DO I need this motor mount and the one with the sensor? Or is it an either or situation. Would you need to replace all 4 at a time?

      A:

Hi Tony, great question! For your Infinit I-35, the motor mounts with the wire are electronic mounts, they become softer at idle to soak up vibration and stiffer at off idle, so the engine cannot move as far when the engine is first powering up to get the car moving. If the electronic mount is a lot more which most likely is I would put in a standard motor mount, it will not affect engine performance. It should not turn on the check engine light and you will not notice a difference. If you are in need to replace a single motor mount, the other motor mounts are on the verge of failure and needs attention too.
