Comments about Anchor Mount Engine-Transmission:
I ended up having to replace this because I had to cut one of the bolts out of the existing one with a SawZaw when trying to remove it. The reason I had to remove it is because it had to disconnect it from a support cross bar in order to install a new exhaust system. It wasn't a part that I really wanted to replace, but it had to be done.
I'm glad AA had the part in stock and I was able to pick it up in 30 minutes. It was a prefect replacement and for a decent price.

Q:Is there a difference between the drivers side and passenger side motor mount for a 2002 Ford Explorer 4.0 Ltr V6 SOHC?
A:Hi Brains63, I’ll be happy to help you with your question. The mount that was linked Part No 3062 will be a transmission mount, it would go on the tail end of the transmission and transmission cross member. Part No 3048 http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/anchor-mount-engine-transmission-3048/20300696-P? would be the passenger side, when looking at the picture a bracket that is bolted to the engine goes over the studs on the left of the mount and nuts hold it down. Part No 3047 http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/anchor-mount-engine-transmission-3047/20300706-P? will be the driver side. When looking at the picture a bracket locks between the top of the mount and a bolt goes through it. These both fit the RWD.
