Comments about Anchor Mount Engine-Transmission:

Only two of the four mount holes of the motor mount lined up with the threaded holes in the transaxle of my 2003 Dodge Neon (2.0L, manual trans.). The mount bracket was not true 90 degrees and the horizontal through holes were too short. It was a good exercise nonetheless...

    • Q:

I have replaced the mounts on the passenger side of my neon but when I shift into reverse or drive while sitting still I get some vibration. I needed to know if that is normal or if the transmission mount is bad or something else. I have put a new map sensor, idle air control valve, and plugs and wires. I changed the oil and air filter with the tune up.

        A:

2005 dodge neon has four mounts. One motor mount; they call it as a right rear mount. Two torque Strut mounts, the "front right upper" is the upper torque strut and the "front right lower" is the lower torque strut. One transmission mount.
