                      A:

Hi Frederick, with reference to your inquiry on the Anchor Mount Engine-Transmission - Part No. 2897, kindly follow the instructions to replace the the front motor mount on your 2000 Buick Lesabre. Raise the front end of your vehicle, using a floor jack. Place jack stands under the support rail toward the front right and left side of the frame directly behind the front right and left tire. Lower the vehicle onto the jack stands. Remove your floor jack from under the frame. Slide under the engine. Bring your floor jack with you, and position the jack under the center of the oil pan. Remove the securing bolt from the center of the motor mount, using a ratchet and socket. Raise the engine enough to relieve the weight of the engine. Pull the motor mount out from between the engine and the frame. Replace the old motor mount with the new one. Line up the hole in the middle of the motor mount with the holes on the frame and the engine. Replace the securing bolt, and tighten the securing bolt with the ratchet and socket. For any further assistance please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

                      A:

If your engine is vibrating, flexing, making a load pop noise, and if the rubber is worn then it is a bad mount.

This is the mount on the driver's side attached to the transmission. You can see it clearly out in the open between the radiator and the transmission housing.
