Q:2003 mercury sable GS. 6 cyl DOHC type S .. 4 mounts are listed and the car only takes three. Whats the difference? Which ones does it need? Hard to install? Worth taking it to a shop? I hear the right rear one is tough.
A:Hi John, great question! Your vehicle needs part #2894 for front, #2862 for rear, #2974 for transmission. The installation depends upon the skill level of the person performing the operation. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
