    Do these go inside the existing coil springs? I would like to know a little more about the installation.This is really important
    as I need to put my wife's wheelchair on the back of our 03 crown vic.This is the nearest thing they make to an airshock.Her chair
    and the carrier are heavy.Any help is greatly appreciated.

      Yes, the Airlift 1000; Coil Spring (Part No. 60798) goes inside the existing open coil springs. Air Lift adjustable air springs work with your existing suspension to give your vehicle more leveling support when you need it, so your vehicle is always level and stable. Simply add air to the air springs when hauling a heavy load to ensure that your vehicle is level and stable. Then, deflate when you are riding empty for better ride quality.
