As with earlier comments, it's a made in China part that has the outlet hose on wrong side. (It is pointing toward the passenger side tire instead of the steering wheel). This causes a kink in the hose even if your type is long enough to reach around to it. It doesn't fit on a 1995 K2500 4x4 with a 7.4 liter V8.

Comments about ACI Windshield Washer Pump:

The base of the pump is adjustable and can be turned to properly clock the feed tube on the pump. It may be stiff to turn but can be done. DO NOT USE TOOLS TO DO THIS ... also grab around the base and not onto the feed tube as you will risk breaking the base cover. Place one hand around the base (just under the rings on the body) and the other around the body and gently but firmly twist the base to align the feed tube to the old pump. It's that simple ...

Comments about ACI Windshield Washer Pump:

This ACI Washer Pump is listed as an "EXACT" fit for my 2006 Impala. However, after removing the existing pump I noticed the replacement pump is approximately 3/4 of an inch shorter. No way possible for this pump to snap into the reservoir the way the old pump did! It was very frustrating. You definitely need to purchase the Original Equipment Manufacturers pump!

                    • CUSTOMER CARE

                      A:

Happy to help, Mike! Locate the windshield washer pump. It is near the bottom rear of the white plastic windshield washer reservoir next to the engine's air filter housing, which is at the front of the engine compartment on the Driver's side. Removal of the engine's air filtration system may be necessary to gain access to the windshield washer pump. Unplug the washer pump's electrical connector. Disconnect the supply hose from the washer pump and remove the pump from the reservoir, using a twisting-and-pulling motion in the upward direction. Install the replacement pump in the reservoir. Using a twisting-and-pushing motion in the downward direction. Reconnect the pump's electrical connector and supply hose. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position and activate the windshield washer system. After waiting for fluid to flow through the system, verify that fluid sprays out of the washer jets and that there are no leaks underneath the vehicle. Reinstall any engine components that were removed during washer pump replacement.

                      A:

Hi Bill, please follow these instructions to replace the windshield washer pump. Disconnect the cable running to the negative terminal on the battery by loosening the nut on the cable clamp and sliding the clamp off the terminal. Open the hood and lift up on the windshield washer fluid reservoir. The reservoir is normally located on the driver's side of the engine bay. Remove the electrical plug connected to the washer fluid pump. Squeeze the release tab on the connector and pull the connector out of the pump terminal. Remove the hose connected to the washer pump. You may need to squeeze the tabs on a hose clamp and slide the hose clamp out of the way before pulling the hose off the pump. Remove the bolts holding the washer pump to the frame of the vehicle and pull the washer pump out of the vehicle. Install the new windshield washer pump. Installation is the reverse of removal.
