              A:

Installation instructions: 1. Locate the power window fuse and inspect to determine if it is blown. 2. Using the door panel window switch, roll the window up and down. 3. Remove the interior door panel. 4. Check the window lift motor connector. 5. With the power probe, verify power to the positive side connector pin on the window lift motor. 6. Remove the glass from the regulator assembly. 7. Tape glass to door frame. 8. Remove the window lift motor mounting bolts. Slide the window lift motor mount through the interior access opening of the door. 9. Install the new window lift motor and tighten the mounting bolts. 10. Reconnect the window lift motor connector. 11. Re-install the vapor barrier. 12. Re-install the door trim panel and handles/switches. 13. Test the power window for proper operation by rolling the window up and down in complete cycles for proper testing. • Q:

My driver's side window will roll down but not back up, same problem with my passenger's side window but can roll passenger's side up but using the passenger's controls. Both back windows work fine and I have wired my front window wire to the back controls to roll the window up. I have been told many different thing, what do you think the issue is?

              A:

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.

          • Q:

I'm not sure what part I need but my driver's side automatic window will not roll up or down. You can hear the motor slightly when trying to work and all others work so not a fuse. It's like the button you push is broken some how. I have an 02 impala. I don't think the window lift motor is correct??

It could be the regulator or the switch.
