Had plenty of power for the heavy 91 camaro window. Don't worry about the people that say they don't last long. The OEM ones don't last long either so buy the least expensive one. Either one will only last a few years or more if your lucky. Better to spend 30 every couple years than pay the dealer their outragous prices. Here's a link to an easy way to replace its how I did it, worked perfectly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSEBmF9mVtY only thing he left out was you can do it with the window raised if you put a large bolt or allen wrench in the hole in the window regulator to keep the window from falling down. Its the only hole you can see in the regulator can't miss it. Right above where the two pieces of the regulator cross.

The included instructions aren't correct, throw them away. Also, the included bracket isn't the correct one. The whole old unit including the lift hardware has to be completely removed from the car, the mounting bracket has to be removed (pop rivets drilled out) and mounted to the new motor. Works great once we reinstalled it. Be sure to duct tape the window completely up (closed) or there won't be room to work.

There was a bit of work to install but after about an hour and half every thing seemed to work. Planning on buying one more to finish the job. You will need some small 1/4 inch bolts to install.

Comments about ACI Window Lift Motor:

My only con was not about the price or quality, but in the instructions. It kept referring to the new bracket being used- which was incompatible with the existing assembly... That being said hold onto your old connecting bracket and be sure not to destroy it when you remove it from the vehicle. In my case it took some careful maneuvering since the bracket, motor, and regulator were riveted in. Also a great side note.... lose the tension spring.. No need to wind it up...the motor is strong enough without it... Hope this helps

Perfect fit. A bit of a pain to remove the window regulator assembly but it will come out if positioned correctly. This was on a rear door of a 1994 Buick Century.

I have a 1991 Buick LaSabre and the front passenger side window works VERY slowly. I am thinking it is the motor, would this be correct? I am not sure because it does work but very slower going up and down. Also, would there be a "how to" guide to installing a motor for the window? I am pretty handy but no mechanic and was wondering how involved it would be?

It is possible that the resistance is high between the ground and / or power and the motor. But more than likely, the only fix for slow windows is bypassing the internal resistor. Search for "speed up power windows" on turbobuick dot com.
