      The spark plug wire set without radio suppression means that these wires are not a  carbon- core radio suppression wires that have a resistance of about 1000 ohms per foot or so. Many points -type ignitions use solid copper core wires, because they have minimal voltage drop, for a hotter spark with the relatively weak points ignition.
