      Comments about ACDelco Spark Plug:

Advance had the exact plugs that had been previously used in the car. They were priced inexpensively, easy to install, and most importantly solved the problem I had with my car.
The customer service was excellent and being able to order online and pick it up at my local store saved me a lot of time. It was great being able to go to the store, pick up my order and be on my way instead of going through the usual make, model, engine routine. I would not hesitate to recommend the in store pickup service to others.

Keep to the original plugs, these are what the factory used and built the engine with. Must gap to car specs. I bought the expensive plugs & the ewngine didnt run as good.

Make sure you check the Gap is correct for the auto you are installing them on. NEVER listen to anyone saying they are gaped right out of the box. All 8 plugs had a different gap. Gap them, Replace them and enjoy the ride along with the savings on gas that you had been wasting. Highly recommend and they do not break the bank.

I bought the [$] plugs and was very disappointed in them. I went back to these original plugs and can tell why General Motors used them. They are easy to adjust the spark gap. My car gets better mileage and runs smoother.

Hi Killerdexter17, glad to assist you! This spark plug is pre-gapped to 0.060" and would be an exact fit for your 2005 Chevrolet Impala. Replacing the spark plugs and wires depend on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. Some may have a harder time than others who have experience. I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair and replace specific parts.

Will this plug make your car run better than an iridium plug?
Asked on 12/29/2013 by Joe from Michigan

                1 answer

                • CUSTOMER CARE

                  A:

Hi Joe! That's a great question. Copper spark plug conducts better and is generally used in high-performance / modified engines. In a dedicated race cards resistor-less copper plugs are used. Iridium spark plugs are chosen for their longevity only. You shouldn't gap iridium plug because of potential damage to the tips. For that reason and their inferior conductivity, they aren't used in modified engines. Keep in mind their price, as well.
