  • Q:

Why would a tail gate, stop working to swing open, it opens like a truck drop down but wont unlock the bottom hinge. The lock does not unlock or click anymore.
Asked on 3/20/2015 by Tom from Napoleon Ohio

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Hi Tom, glad to assist you! A sensor rod that is too long can cause the tailgate not to open in the swing mode. Replacing the sensor rod will commonly correct this issue. However, I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.

  • Q:

Will this work to replace the connector on the blower motor? I have a 2000 Malibu and I believe that connector that is on there now is not making enough contact. When I bend the wires up, the blower works fine. I tried replacing the resistor but that was not the problem. Therefore, is this the replacement I need?

I have seen fan clutches for sale on the site and they all have that same connector protruding off the clutch itself and even seen just that part but not the connector itself until I tried your website.
