  • Q:

Hi. My question is similar to another customer as follow:
What is the difference between this coil pack(part number e530c) and the other ac Delco (part number. d555) coil pack.

My car is a Cavalier 1994 2.2L standard transmission.

Why one part is more expensive than the other? Can my car use any one, or one of them is for an specific vehicle?

I'm happy to help, Michael! Part No. D555 is a Delco Remy part which is designed more specifically for your GM vehicle. Part No. E530C is designed to fit more than just your GM vehicle. However, it still meets the specifications for your vehicle. You can see more fitment information here: http://parts-catalog.acdelco.com/catalog/catalog_search.php

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not solve or be the problem.
