          A:

The orifice tube on your 2002 Cadillac Escalade should be located in the inlet tube to the AC evaporator core, the tube in deep inside that inlet, the small AC hose (called the liquid line) from the compreessor is what is connected to that inlet tube of the evaporator core. • Q:

I cant' find where this part is on my truck.
I don't see a "crimp" in the line that goes from the condenser to the accumulator/evaporator.
someone told me it might be in the condenser or built into the accumulator.
It's a 1993 Chev CK1500 5.7L, R-12 system. I've changed the compressor and accumulator but don't want to put it back together until i find and change this orifice tube.

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

Along the A/C lines you should find a small crimp in between two connections. That crimp is where the orifice tube is located. The orifice will be located inside the lines.
