Used it on 97 Grand Caravan with rear AC. Worked great! Before refridgerant would leak out after about one day. Still working a month later. I am selling this vehicle. If I were keeping it I would recommend have a shop pull a vacuum on your system. That would also check how big of a leak you have. They should be able to do that for around $50. That way you won't be over pressurizing your system= should last longer and less likely to start another leak. Do this.. go home.. then follow directions. Shops don't like getting this super seal in their expensive equipment. But for a cheap fix compared to $700. repair. It's hard to beat. Yes, for a really big leak it won't work just as it says on the directions. You can now buy vacuum pumps I believe for less than $150. Would be a good investment if you can afford it.

Comments about AC Pro Super Seal Metal and Rubber A/C Stop Leak Kit (3 oz.):
I have a 1996 Ford Explorer that I rebuilt after it was totaled by my Insurance Co. During the rebuild, the AC Compressor Died. I replaced it and Dryer, leaking Condenser Coil, Orifice Tube and even Schrader valves. Charging the system would hold for a week and gradually the AC Temperature would rise until it was above 60. Myself and 2 other AC Mechanics armed with 3 quality leak detectors could not find any further leaks. I am one who believes in fixing things that can be found. after fighting with this problem for a period of months, continually checking for detectable leaks I did On-Line research and came to the conclusion that I had numerous tiny leaks that couldn't be detected. The research also brought me to the conclusion that a last resort would be the best of the leak sealers I could find. AC Pro is a trusted name so I gave it a shot. For 1 month, the AC in my Explorer has held between 38 and 42 degrees, depending on ambient temperatures between 85 and 112 degrees. I'm a happy camper. Pressures are still at the levels I set them to. This stuff works when you follow the directions to the letter and don't try to seal a big hole.

had the common bad condensor behind the dash in my 99 jeep which would have cost $500-$700 and a butt ton of time to do.
this was simple and cheap and it worked great, never felt better air in an older jeep.

Read the disclaimer on the package. Your A/C system must hold a charge for 2 weeks. That means you have a relatively slow leak, otherwise this will not correct any major defects. My system did not meet the criteria but I wanted to try it anyway. Followed the directions on the package and initially got cool air from the system. After a couple of hours it was gone. Can't say if it would have worked on a more functional system.

It sealed up the leaking a/c compressor in my 1991 Chevy Lumina for over 30 days now. Also my sons 1998 Jeep a/c leak is now stopped with this product. My son asked me to get a additional can for a Subaru which he could not get to hold a/c feron, this product also fixed the Subaru.

Comments about AC Pro Super Seal Metal and Rubber A/C Stop Leak Kit (3 oz.):
I bought this product on the glowing reviews from my local Advance Auto Parts RSS. "Several shops in town swear it works" they said. Well I said, "what the heck," so I gave it a try. Nothing ventured nothing gained right. Well I ventured and gained nothing. I took my car out for an one and a half hour drive to make sure that it had plenty of time to seal. I jump in the car two days later and quess what? WARM AIR!!! I've added 134a twice since then. The RSS said it is suppose to have a money-back-quarantee but I'm not going through the hassle so I consider this as a stupid tax paid. It's like all the other quick fix "snake oil" products that Advance carries on their shelves. Buyer beware. Purchase at your own risk. If I could enter a zero star I would.
Comments about AC Pro Super Seal Metal and Rubber A/C Stop Leak Kit (3 oz.):
Per instructions, verified that the system would hold pressure for at least 2 weeks. Used this plus one can of Advance R134a. Followed instructions exactly. Now it won't even hold pressure for a day.

Tried this about 2 years ago on a 2000 GMC Safari that had leaks in the front evaporator coil. Repair would have been hundreds of dollars. Started leaking recently at about a can a week. Recharged with Super Seal and has been working fine for about a month.

Used on a 9 year old Odyssey Minivan. Would hold refridgerant less than a day. Used the A/C Pro product initally, but it leaked out in less than a day. Used the Super Seal Product with two 12 oz. cans of Advance Auto refridgerant and the A/C has been working for over a week now. Great product, save $100s or $1000s in repairs!
