The crankshaft that I received had rough journals and appeared to have been welded and then ground. The oiling hole on one of the rod journals was chipped. After cleaning oiling holes with a crankshaft brush I installed the crank using plastic gauge and found that the clearance for both the rod and main bearings were out of specs (.003+). I will be returning for exchange and hope for better luck next time. I did like the convenience of ordering from home and having shipped to my door.

Data base is incorrect. This part WILL NOT FIT a 2001 - 2004 Ford Escape with the 3.0 Duratec motor.
