I put these on my yukon xl because the guy at the counter said these were the best. They rode like they were just straight rods instead of shocks. Very hard. Yes, the truck handles better. I looked at this site and found at the bottom of the specs for this part it says "not for ZW7 smooth ride package" would have been nice if the guy asked me if that is what I have. I ended up with the regular reflex shocks

Comments about Monroe Reflex Monotube Shock Absorber:
Could not decide which shocks to use on my 2002 Yukon XL which I use for casual driving and towing mid size campers. Chose Reflex Monotube for front and back, could not be happier with them as was a total transformation from the old to new. Great shocks!

Comments about Monroe Reflex Monotube Shock Absorber:
The old shocks had about 70k miles on them, and the truck was used to tow. The ride seemed harsh and noisy before I change the shocks. With the new shocks installed the ride has much improved and very quiet. I installed four of them in my home garage in about an hour with hand tools.

Ordered online and picked up in store. Shocks were easy to install with help of the compression strap around the rear shocks. Ride is noticebly better and no more vibration at speeds 70 and above.

I have had these on the truck for 2 weeks and have not noticed any improvement over oem. But I got 100,000 miles out of oem hope these will last as long.

I would not recommend the monotube, I installed a set on my Tahoe & the ride is too rough!!
