Comments about Worldwide Starter:
good product did not like to cut and splice the wire but it worked.
Comments about Worldwide Starter:
The starter comes with a 6 inch pigtail that has a butt splice on it. This is good because it gets rid of a troublesome quick connector. It is also bad if you don't have crimping pliers. You will probably not get a good splice without crimping pliers. A small amount of dielectric grease on the wires before you crimp would help the splice's longevity.

Comments about Worldwide Starter:
Starter fit perfectly , bolt holes matched up precise , starter engaged perfectly without issue or odd noises. Starter turns car over at a much greater rate of speed than the old one did (like it used to years ago when vehicle was new)

Comments about Worldwide Starter:
It was easy to install other than the change made
by Ford in the way to connect the solenoid wire. You had to cut off the old slide on connector and
crimp on a new pigtail provided with the new starter. But it is a better connection than the original.

never replaced a starter do you just take out bolts and replace with new starter or is there more too it?1 answer

A:
For the most part, yes. There may be a few wires that will need to be connected in the proper place and shims may be on the old one, but for the most part, it is pretty easy to replace a starter.
