Q:electronic ignition distributor relay . what does it do for my 1985 dodge w150?
A:The starter solenoid is basically a large relay located either right on the starter or in another location. A relay is a part that uses a small amount of current to control another circuit that typically uses a much larger amount of current.
Q:where is it located on car
A:It is located behind the hood release, above the fuse box and it will have four wires going to it.
Q:has this product been remodified sense the original factory made
A:BWD relays are manufactured to meet or exceed OE performance.
Q:if this were to go bad on my truck, would it cause the truck not to fire at the coil, and not have fuel coming into the engine?
A:With out the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not solve or be the problem.
