Used this is my GT40R power 93 Mazda RX7. Battery is incredible. I can feel my car volt when I twist the key and the car comes to life almost immediately, which is not always the case in the rotary world. Starter pulls harder than ever. Best battery ive ever owned.

Unfortunately, I can't speak to whether or not the battery itself is good. I purchased this online for my wife's 2005 Lexus RX330, as the Advance Auto Parts website listed this battery model as a fit.I picked it up this morning and had the technician from Advance Auto Parts install it for me. Generally, I would just install a battery myself since it's very easy, but I didn't want the responsibility in case this model ended up not fitting. Well, sure enough, the battery did not fit. We tried everything we could to get it to fit properly, but it all boils down to the fact that this battery's terminals are in the reverse position of the stock battery's terminals. You would think that you could just turn the battery around to get them in the right position, but then the wires are not nearly long enough to reach the terminals.After 45 minutes of hassling with it, the guy took the Optima RedTop out and we went inside and exchanged it for a less expensive Autocraft Gold battery[...]

Purchased on line at Advanced Auto Parts and picked up at local store. Process could not have been any easier. Battery was ready for pick up within one hour. Full description of battery and fit for my 2009 Tahoe. Battery comes with several adapters if needed for secure fit. Easy installation instructions.

I installed this in my 2008 Chevrolet Suburban. Works as well as a new battery should. Got a great deal with the online coupon code. This is my first Optima battery. I decided to try one after all the great reviews I read and from friends bragging them up. I don't like cleaning batteries and the damage that corrosion does to the cables and the battery area in general. This certainly is not the cheapest battery available. I hope the longevity makes up for the price. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Put this battery in my 2005 Mustang GT and loved it from it the get go. This one blows away the OEM battery and any others in class. A bit more pricey but well worth the added power. Almost double the cranking amps for cold starts, too. This one has reverse poles so it fits the GT unlike the other Optima batteries. No doubt the best battery I've ever owned.

I previously had a yellow top Optima in my last vehicle and was very pleased - I always felt confident that I could start the vehicle even if the interior lights were left on during tailgating, etc. whereas the old battery would die as soon as any accessories were left on for more than 15 minutes. So when my battery started losing starting power in my current 2008 Yukon Denali, I went directly for an Optima battery again. This time the red top was recommended for this application. I haven't had much experience with it yet, but I assume it will be as satisfactory as my last Optima battery experience.

It said: Requires bottom height adapter, check hood clearance.
