Don't buy from Advance Auto Parts

I've had nothing but issues with the D35 not holding a charge, but it tests fine in the car so Advance will not replace. Turns out when I bought the battery a year ago it was old stock made in 2007. Optima says that this is the reason I'm having issues. Leave the headlights on for 15 minutes and you can't start the car. What a pain this has been.

I chose this particular battery because of its deep cycle capability. It will live in my Sunday car so it's more likely to crank after sitting for a spell than typical heavy crank capacity batteries. It will also handle the trickle charger well this winter when the car sits for up to a month without starting. I plan to retire with this car.
I have used this type of battery on my boat for both the engine and on board electrical system. The performance was excellent. I expect as much from this one as well.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is my second optima battery purchased, first one was brought for my accord 4 years ago battery still running strong, no complaint. I currently have to replace my factory battery for my Honda pilot and I wouldn't choose any other battery than optima. Highly recommend

This battery died on me in just 1 week. After install, I drove my car around fine for 1 day but after 1 week of sitting in garage, it was deader than a door nail! No power, no nuthin'! Returned to Advanced Auto Parts, they had to charge it overnight, SERIOUSLY??? Hopefully, I can get my money back and go buy a normal battery.

Used to replace an old "cheapy" battery in a 2003 Subaru WRX. The old battery was being stressed by a new sound system and was having difficulty starting on very cold mornings. The new battery is great! It is quite a bit smaller than the old one. I like that it is very safe to handle. It certainly supplies plenty of power, no matter the temperature. At double the cost of a normal 'lead plate' battery, it is expensive, but I believe worth it. I purchased the battery online to take advantage of discounted pricing and choose to pick up in store. Very pleasant experience.
