I bought these to replace the plugs in my 2001 VW Jetta 1.8T running at stock compression. A couple of the old plugs had oil around them which makes me think they were not installed to a correct torque. These came in a box of 4 (since I purchased 4) and with an information card for installation to the proper torque. I set these to 0.032 gap, and hand then tightened them. I then used a torque wrench to set them to the amount recommended in the box. They have been working great and I pulled them out recently to verify no more oil leaks around them due to proper installation.

I won't say they were a substantual gain but they sure rectified a couple of issues I was having. Car seems to be running a little smoother so i'm excited.

Put these in an 02 Neon with 99,500 miles on it. The old plugs only had about 20k on them, but WOW what a difference. These plugs are going to be my new go to.
