OK, so putting the actual window motor in proved to be a real pain. Not the motor's fault, more of the 2006 Nissan Sentra's. My previous motor had failed in the up position and I couldn't find the release on the back of the old window motor. But after almost a year of not being able to use my driver side window, I was persistant. Took the window out completely, managed to get everything unhooked, and the new one put in. The new motor is GREAT! It's a lot faster than my other ones, makes a little more noise but that may be from losing some of the grease in the removal process.

I ordered this part from my local store. The first one came in with a stripped gear. The motor would run, but the gear wouldnt turn. Useless part. Returned it and ordered another one. [...] It works great, but sounds like a get engine. WAY TOO LOUD!! Returned it, waiting for another one. This will be the last opportunity I give this manufacturer to get it right. [...]
