the face of the sensor was covered with excess solder.
the clerk went and pulled another one and was not quite as bad.
I took that one, my truck seems to run ok( for how long I don't know) but I would not recommend this product until quality improved

This was simply a replacement part that I purchased to replace a bad one. The product was a direct replacement. When I got to the store the first counter man had no idea how to find a part that I had ordered online but another gentleman helped him find it right away.

my check engine light comes on periodically and my obd ii code ready gave a reading that the mass air flow sensor was the issue. what's happening in my 04 chevy tahoe is there a lil hesitation in the throttle while driving and sometimes the air flow from the vents blows out extremely hot air even when the heat isn't on. would this part correct that?Asked on 11/28/2011 by Lawrence from Temple Hills, MD1 answer

i have a 03 chevy silverado 5.3, my truck kinda di the same. i took it to a shop an they clesaned my filter an also cleaned my throttlebody an mass air flow. it idles great now an doesnt act like it wants to die now. this ,ight help you out.hope it does.Answered on 1/23/2011 by cory from sevierville, tn
