      where would my egr valve be located on the engine,i have a 1997 dodge dakota 3.9 liter, and it goes through gas more than ever. i have found one part of the component that is on the drivers side othe engine but cant find the rest of it

        With reference to your inquiry on EGR Valve (BWD EGR Valve - Part No. EGR1217), the 1997 Dodge Dakota with a 3.9L Engine does not come with an EGR. However it does have an EVAP system (there is a canister located on the front, passenger side of the engine compartment that traps fuel tank vapors, which are later released into the intake manifold), and a PCV system and then the CAT.
