    Ok so this computer will program itself to the vehicle after you have driven it in stop and go and freeway driving etc. Or do I have to pay FORD to program it? Am thinking about nuying it tomorrow

      You should not have to take it to Ford to get the to program it.

      All computers come pre-programmed for the vehicle that they are made for with a basic program. If the computer is for a vehicle manufactured from 1992- present there can be an issue to where some programming may be needed because these computers learn about the car over time and change their programming to keep the car running. It is possible that just putting a new computer in your vehicle may not work properly.
