Do I need to chnage ignition coil on plug boot when I change out spark plugs at 100000 miles spark plug change on GM 2.4 Liter engine?

                A:

The ignition coil replacement is necessary if the engine starts to skip or misfire. When this happens, the check engine light will flash on. The ignition coil lasts a long time. You have to change the factory recommended spark plugs when your service book recommends. The platinum tipped plugs are usually good for 50,000 miles, the iridium plugs last 75,000 miles and the regular spark plugs are good only for 25k to 30k miles. For any further assistance, please feel free to call us at 1-877-238-2623 or visit your nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our representatives would be more than happy to assist you.
