Flywheel hot spots can cause chatter. Resurfacing a flywheel doesn't always remove hot spots. The flywheel may look shiny and pretty, but the hot spots will often still be there. Service the System™ by replacing the flywheel and the clutch set at the same time. All flywheels come with a new ring gear.

Q:
This clutch states that it is an exact fit for a 2000 Toyota Tacoma 3.4L V6 5 Speed manual transmission. The bolt hole quanity states 6 bolts holes. Either the information is wrong or the wrong part is listed. The flywheel should have 8 bolt holes.Asked on 2/22/2013 by a from a1 answer
