Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
Arrived quickly. Nice product, however Ford made it very difficult to install the left rear shock. Took a couple hours to install all of them. But Im a do it yourselfer and refuse to pay a shop a couple hundred dollars for something I can do myself. In e the end all was good and they made a tremendous difference on the suspension. Two thumbs up!!

Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
This is an excellent shock to give my ford explorer stability and to resolve the saggy rear end that ford explorers are known for! Easy to install. I tow boats, snowmobiles etc and needed the rear end to be stable and firm. These shocks are the right choice. The shocks raised the back of my truck a good 1 1/2 - 2 inches (back to how it should be)

Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
These coil over springs are great. I put them a 2004 Ford sport trac with worn leaf springs, brought the truck up to original ride hieght and helped smooth out the ride. I've also used them on an older dodge grand caravan which are know for wearing through rear shocks put them on at 90000 miles sold the van with 20000 shock were still like new. I will be putting these on the back of most of the cars I own when its time to replace the rear shocks.

Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
Beware they come as a pair. Did not see that in the description when I purchased them online. Simple to return at local store. Refund fast and easy.
Other than that they are shocks, fit and work fine.

Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
Absolutely the best thing for a sagging Explorer. Yes, you have to take the spare tire down, and yes, the top of the top mounting bolts are "blind". But if you do much work on cars at all, you will know that there are much, much worse ones out there. The shocks were great. There was around three inches I needed to compress these to get them into the bottom bolt holes. This was with the back suspension at full droop. I wound up using a 2x4 as a lever to compress them enough to get the bolt holes to line up. They DO NOT come with the 12mm bolts that hold the bottom of the shock on, so don't break them.
Raised the back of the vehicle a full 2 inches, measured at the bumper.

Comments about Monroe Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:
Bought two sets of these for a '99 Explorer Sport and a '01 Exp. Sport. Except for the poor design by Ford, installation was easy and they improved the handling and ride significantly. Ride height also increased by helping sagging rear springs.
