Fixed Engine Light, less $ than factory
Check engine was on with EVAP code, this fixed it. Same thing happened on Moms and Sisters 98 Accords, but this was 1/3 the cost of Honda OEM.

I hate to buck the trend of positive reviews, but this was not a tight fit. There is a US made 2002 Accord (VIN starts with 1) and a Japanese made 2002 Accord (VIN starts with J). According to Honda they require different caps and sell 2 different caps at diferent prices. Mine is a US made version and the fit was not tight.

Site said it was an exact fit for a 2005 Corolla, but the filler neck threads were very different than the OE one. Cap did not even get a 1/4 turn before getting stuck w/o a tight seal.

Well, it's a gas cap. There is nothing wrong with this gas cap. It is a fine product that fit my vehicle properly (minus the lanyard to keep it with the car). I probably didn't need to replace it to get rid of the 'Evap Leak, Large' error but I was in a pinch because the car needed an inspection. The error was probably the result of a loose gas cap and this vehicle may not clear the error on its own once the cap was re-installed properly. I bought a code reader to clear the error when I bought the cap and that was probably all I needed! Do your troubleshooting before spending the money on a new gas cap. You probably don't need to replace it.

I can't speak to the durability of the product having only used it for a short time, but it seems sturdy and well-made. It fit my gas tank perfectly and I've had no problems with it.

Reasonable gas cap works but do not overfill your tank..seems to cause gas cap to read check engine....I have had to purchase two of these in two years...when check engine light comes on...I replace gas cap in my 2002 honda s2000 convertible.
