  • Q:

I have a 93 Dakota ext. cab 4X4 with the 318 and auto trans. I can hear my front engage (grind) into 4 wheel drive but it doesn't fully engage because my front tires don't spin with the rears in the snow. Is this the part I'd need because 4x4 light comes on but I can tell it's not engaged. Thanks.

  • Q:

I own a 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 5.9 Magnum. My Four wheel drive will not engage and the light will not come on. I believe almost everything has broken. The vacuum lines,(which seem to be missing and one off of the actuator on the axle is the only one i see seems to be cut and plugged or some sort of vent) this switch possibly a seal on the actuator. Where does this switch go, where do all of the lines run to, how does it connect to the actuator, and where is the vacuum motor located as i believe it may also be broken? I realize I'm asking for basically the entire 4WD vacuum system schematic, sorry.

If you look closely, this has four plastic pieces on top. You can barely see the sliver of the fourth one. This has the 4 pieces just like yours.
