Comments about Monroe Max-Air Air Shock Absorber:

Added to my Jeep for towing, with 25lbs of air the jeep rides like it did with a regular shock then when towing my boat I add an additional 25lbs and the Jeeps stay level not sagging in the rear, it does help with the steering and stability. These shocks were easy to install and did exactly what they were intended to do.

Comments about Monroe Max-Air Air Shock Absorber:

So far this product is serving me well installed in my 2001 Jeep Cherokee. I've had other air shocks in the past, (on other Cherokees) but they required approx. a 50 PSI min. operating pressure. These start at a min. of 20 PSI allowing for a less harsh ride if desired.

These shocks have improved ride quality and handling on my particular vehicle. The only complaint I have has nothing to do with the shocks, but rather with the difficulty of dealing with Jeeps top shock mounts. The top bolts are prone to breaking (EASILY) and require drilling. Also, the air lines must be routed very carefully on the pass. side due to the exhaust.

Comments about Monroe Max-Air Air Shock Absorber:

I am using these on a 95 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I had an old 93 that I put a competitors Air Shocks on and was amazed. The ride was better and I couldn't fit enough in the back to overload them. I was expecting similar results with these and found that with the units at almost max psi I was still seriously squatting with only 600lbs. Very Disappointing. I will never buy Monroe again.
