would it cause my speedometer to not work

      A:

With reference to your inquiry on the BWD Throttle Position Sensor - part# EC3270, speedometer not working is not related to the TPS (throttle position sensor). It is usually the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem. For any further assistance,

    Re-Type of Earlier Question.

What type/size bolts are needed for the sensor? I'm asking because my existing bolts are seriously rusty and seized, I'm pretty sure I'm going to mess them up trying to get them out.

My vehicle is a 2000 Chrysler Neon, 2.0 litre 4 cylinder Engine
