    I'm looking atPart nos. 12027 and 12021---tester adapters, They both have the same description and fit the same car - a 1996 Ford Escort 1.9L. Can you explain the difference?

      A:

      The Stant Tester Adapter with part# 12021 is required to test small diameter (45mm O.D.) radiator caps and the dimensions are 3.4 x 3.3 x 2.3 inches. The Stant Tester Adapter with part# 12027 is required to test all small diameter (32mm I.D., 16mm deep) cooling system filler neck applications and the dimensions are 3.6 x 3 x 3.6 inches.
