Product was exactly what was described. It's an ignition switch for ford products. Came with new torx screws to replace the original ones in case you strip them out trying to remove them. It bolted right up and did what it was supposed to do.

The ignition switch on your 1997 Ford F-150 should be mounted on the right side of the steering column. In order to replace ignition switch, disconnect the battery and remove the steering wheel. There is a round slot in the steering column, if you insert a rod in there it will release the switch. The small wire on the starter is the ignition switch. The relay is located in the wiring harness.
